The Right Place at the Right Time
Being at any well known destination at the right time can provide some very unique images. A popular summer attraction filled with swimmers, hikers and campers was transformed into a winter wonderland after a lite snowfall. Johnson’s Shut-Ins is one of the most popular of Missouri’s State Parks. Setting in the rugged Ozark terrain of the St. Francois Mountains and in the Black River valley, it was once the home of the early Scots-Irish settlers. The changing seasons continually transform the rushing river, unique geology and pristine blue spring into a tranquil landscape.
